Never Too Young To Learn To Vote

The Daisies of Troop 673 had a wonderful field trip to the Maine State Museum, and the highlight was the voting booth in the museum's Suffrage Exhibit: "Women's Long Road: 100 Years to the Vote". Each girl voted on whether Election Day should be a federal holiday. Their troop leader reported the girls understood the importance of voting and "took pride in their vote." The Suffragists would be proud too!
